XP Pro installation stops

Expand Post »
Just installed a fresh copy of windows xp pro and after install was complete the computer restarted and went all the way through up until after verifing DMI Pool and when I shoot go to the User Screen the screen stays blank and the computer stops responding. This is a new build and has a Serial ATA HD and a NVidia 256 Video card. Do you think this is a video problem or a operating system problem. I almost looks as if the video drivers may not have been right or something and it's causing the computer to hang with a black screen. Any suggestions?
