USB Ports

I have win98 and win2000 proffesional installed on two separate hard drives. The 2000 is installed from win98 on a separate hard disk and partition(NTFS).
the problem is that the USB ports dont work in win200. They work in win98. Any sugestions? Thank you in advance.

Greetings.
USB ports won't work?
Are you plugging in a USB storage drive? Like a thumb-drive?
If yes, WinXP and 2000 does not need you to install USB drivers.
It will auto-detect for you. But as for Win98, you would have to install them yourself.

Make sure you have installed the motherboard chipset drivers in your Windows 2000 installation.

That may be the reason , but where I can find those drivers
