Can You scan for Spyware/Adware & Nasties when PC cannot bootup

Expand Post »
Is there a way or is there a utility CD that can scan your HDD for Spyware/Adware and nasties when you pc cannot boot up. This is like scanning for virus from a bootable cd. Can you point me to a web site or a software that can do this from a cd or dvd.

Re: Can You scan for Spyware/Adware & Nasties when PC cannot bootup

Hello.
I know back when windows 98 was around that Norton and those other big one used to do a boot check on your hardrive when your computer was starting but I haven't heard of any recently. I have been hearing of people taking the hardrive and plugging it in as a external hardrive and checking it that way(Iv never tried that though) Ill look around and see if I can find anything that may be able to help you though.

Best Regards
