IIS, Test Director and Apache

Hi I had IIS and test Director installed and this setup was working fine. then one of my friends installed xampp (apache friends) and now test director is not working. may be the problem with the IIS as when i enter the address of localhost it says it is unable to connect.

what i can do to resolve this issue?

should i uninstall xampp?
please help
