I installed and am running Windows 2003 Enterprise, with default stmp. When my forum EZASPSITE tries to send mail, no server responds. Telneting to the port showed that it was active and answering as 'dubya' but setting the forum to use cdosys for email and giving it the name 'dubya' as the server yeilded nothing but "can not find server" errors.
I have since disabled the stmp and am using Argomail server, and Jmail. This works fine but I would rather use the IIS stmp. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be, and how to resolve it?
