installing php and mysql properly

Expand Post »
I installed PHPDev5 and can run my php files no problem on localhost. However, since I'm the only who can seem them, I wanted to setup IIS so that my site could be seen by others on the internet. (until i move to an actual dedicated server) I believe the php service works fine, but I get a CGI error when it loads, which makes me think its a mysql problem. I followed the directions on mysql website. Any thoughts what could be causing the problem?

Re: installing php and mysql properly

There are several types of errors that you could be getting, what is the actual error message?

Is there any documentation of the error in c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\?
