IBM Server x3200 M3

Hi,

I'm a newbie for configuring a server. The server is RAID5. My problem is I can't find the "RAID" option at the BIOS menu.

Since you are a newbie: Before step into a server you must have a good understanding of its hardware which is a must. You must not install and configure anything if you do not understand the functionality of your server. That is where servers are different from PCs. Configurations affect hardware functionality and vis versa.
First you must go through the Manual:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/systems/support/system_x_pdf/81y5703.pdf
You have to be very thorough of this. Do not make any mistakes which will result in a raid failure or inability to recover.
Use the Installation Assistance and other tools from this link:
http://www-947.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/docdisplay?lndocid=MIGR-5079561

Setup utility
The UEFI (formerly BIOS) Setup Utility program is part of the basic input/output
system firmware. Use it to change interrupt request (IRQ) settings, change the
startup-device sequence, set the date and time, and set passwords.

Boot Manager program
The Boot Manager program is part of the server firmware. Use it to override the
startup sequence that is set in the Setup utility and temporarily assign a device to
be first in the startup sequence.

IBM ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD
The ServerGuide program provides software-setup tools and installation tools
that are designed for the server. Use this CD during the installation of the server
to configure basic hardware features, such as an integrated SAS/SATA controller
with RAID capabilities, and to simplify the installation of your operating system.

RAID Utilities: Check your adapter first!

Server configuration and applications for configuring and managing RAID arrays

ServeRAID-BR10il v2 adapter installed:
LSI Utility (Setup utility, press Ctrl+C), ServerGuide

ServeRAID-MR10i adapter installed:
MegaRAID Storage Manager (MSM), MegaRAID BIOS Configuration Utility (press C
to start), ServerGuide

ServeRAID-MR10is VAULT adapter installed:
MegaRAID Storage Manager (MSM), MegaRAID BIOS Configuration Utility (press C
to start), ServerGuide

Read the manual for the rest. If you have further questions please ask! :)

Anyone can be an computer techie if reads manuals and understand them well...
