Hi guys

I'm running Windows Server 2012 essentials effectively as a homeserver, (WHS replacement), and it works fine backing up the family's PCs and working as a file server.

As I have access to R2 through TechNet I was wondering whether there is really any point in doing the upgrade? It doesn't seem to be possible to do an inplace upgrade - I tried and it complained... So is it worth the effort of nuking my current setup to move to R2 - are there any killer features that will make life easier?

Thoughts appreciated!
