Outlook for eMail, confusing,

Expand Post »
I was going to make Outlook my email client instead of Express. However, I do not see a way of conjuring up Identities, or several for different email accounts. I went back to Outlook Express until I discover if multiple identities can be established and how. I'd like to use outlook for its contact manager and calender, etc. Input welcome.
Thanks,
BuddyB

Re: Outlook for eMail, confusing,

You have to create a profile before you can do anything with outlook. Simple way of doing this is to go to >> control panel >> select 'mail' by double clicking >> show profiles button >> add a new profile

Outlook will take you through a wizard which will allow you to plug in your info such as smtp server and/or pop server. Afterwards you should be all set. Don't forget to make sure you have Outlook using the right profile...go back into control panel >> mail >> and look to make sure outlook is using the right profile at the bottom of the popup window.
