Please help with windows movie maker

ok i got a video but theres some points i want to sensor. by sensor, i mean black out. its just me playing a game but i want to block my online name out because i dont want people do be sending me friend requests because i dont even play it anymore. can this be done with windows movie maker? or would i use some other third party software?

As far as I know you cannot edit a portion of the frame in Windows Movie Maker. You need to use some good Video Editing Software. May be you can dirty your Hands in Blender which even though is a 3D modeling and animation software, still has some video editing features in it.

I prefer Windows Movie Maker and i like that you can also save your movie back to the video tape in your camera to play back on a TV or on the camera itself.
