Existing iTunes (Windows) and new iPhone - help required

Expand Post »
Hopefully this is the right place seeing as I am running Windows Vista, rather than the Mac forums.

Situation is that I have bought an iPhone 3GS and want to populate it with my existing iTunes library, on a Vista computer which syncs with my iPod.

The existing iPod will be passed down to someone else, so not concerned about the music on that. But don't want to plug the new iPhone into the PC and see all my tunes vanish in front of my eyes.

So can anyone confirm that if I just plug the iPhone into the PC it will copy the existing iTunes library onto the iPhone OK? Or do I need to do anything else first?

Just connect your iPhone to the PC and iTunes will copy all your existing music over to it, don't panic
