Hi there:

I was wandering if it is possible to make a folder uncopyable or unmovable? I urgently need to know this due to people taking important dat from my PC??

I don't know. but you can protect it by password. then if any body copy it then he can't work with it.

Yes possible

you can do with Lock folder software just find in Google you can find lot of there..

Why would people be taking data from your PC? You could password protect folders or encrypt them. You maybe able to alter permissions of the file and folders if other users of you PC is the issue.

if your using win xp pro.. you can try using the cipher command .. check out this link : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb457065.aspx

or you can use also cacls to set permissions to your files check this link:

1. - Folder lock would be the best thing to do.
2. - Why would people be taking data from your PC? Have you thought about disabling sharing on the computer?
