Windows Media Player crashing or puts a green screen instead of video...

Expand Post »
My Windows Media Player has been acting up lately by either crashing after continuous tries of playing videos, or it puts up a green layer over the video but plays the sound.. I went to the Microsoft support site where it said to turn down the video acceleration and go to Windows Update for updates. Well I did both of those and it did not help. Help me please!
