Expand Post »
Running Outlook 2002 on XP Professional.

I have lost my .pst file ?!?!

Starting up Outlook as usual, no crash or anything unusual had happen edwhen I last used the machine and now I have no Outlook. The following error message comes up....

"Unable to Open Default Email Folders. C:/.............Outlook.pst is not a valid file".

I've scoured my hard drive for .pst files, large files, files I've used recently etc. but to no avail.

I used the article here......

http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread37254.html

......to re-gain access to Outlook, but I' still missing my data.

Any advice will be most welcome.

Thanks.

Re: Has anyone seen my .pst file ?

Have you done a search for "*.pst", this searches for all pst files, if that doesnt find it, then it isn't there.

Hi,maybe you have delete it by accident!

Advanced Outlook Repair can help to undelete the emails you delete by mistake. Refer to http://www.datanumen.com/aor/problem...ok-deleted.htm for more detailed information.

And visiting http://www.datanumen.com/aor/ can get detailed information about Advanced Outlook Repair.

And you can also download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/aor.exe
