Hello all, I need help please

I tried to retrive my old emails from a dead pc. I was able to save my dbx files to my outlook express. I however made the mistake of renaming the files. I have been unable to successfully retrive my old mail. Please help by telling me what to do next to get my mails. Run the necessary procedures thru me please.
