Hi everyone !.
I have a Dell Inspiron laptop that is running Windows 7 and is a 64bit system.
It has one problem that I can't fix. Every time I boot up the laptop or reboot the laptop, and I try to open the Control Panel, it freezes up the 1rst time I try. Then I get an error message:
Windows Explorer is not responding. It then gives me the choice to Restart, close the program or wait for the program to respond. Every single time, I choose to RESTART THE PROGRAM. Then I go and try to open the Control Panel and it opens perfect every time I try to open it untill I reboot the computer and I have to go thru the whole proccess again.
Any help is greatly appreciated in trying to fix this problem !

Jump to PostYour problem could be caused by quite a few things. The first thing to try is to boot into safe mode and see if you can open control panel there.
Safe mode instructions -

Next, what security software do you use? Please list all the security programs you have installed. Have you scanned with them recently? If so, what did they find?

Jump to PostYou need to update Mbam and run a full scan.
