Advanced Theme building

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to make my own theme for windows 7, but Im runnung into one major issue: How do I change the window graphics? I know how to change the color, but what if I want to change the texture?. I know by default you can not do this, but with .dll and .exe modifications I know it is possible. Thanks in advance,
