All of my desktop icons have that really annoying little arrow in the corner. Is there any way to get rid of them? And also one of my icons used to be an eBay icon but now it's just an internet explorer symbol in front of a piece of paper. When I right click it and click the properties I see the original icon for it. Any help?

There supposed to have the arrow, it means they are a shortcut. The only ones that shouldnt have it are my computer and recycle bin etc.....

I just downloaded something that got rid of them for me and it worked. Is that bad then? Except the eBay icon still isn't what it's supposed to be.

Its not bad to hide the shortcut thing. In xp you can use tweakUI for that, dunno about vista.

I think the icon problem is an IE7 thing i just tried it on xp and got the same thing
