Hibernation not working!!!

I have Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit), with 1GB RAM and it seems that the Hibernation option suddenly not work...

However when I tried to hibernate it, the computer goes on to the sleep state...
The Hibernation option is still on...

Is there any way to diagonise the problem???

hi can you go to control panel, go to power options.. go to hibernate tab.. check the enable hibernation if the option is checked...
