Problem: Vista won't shut down after sleep

Expand Post »
My computer have had this problem for a long time, if i put the computer to sleep and want to shut it down later, it stays in the shutting down screen forever and it won't shut down unless I press the power button.

Do anyone know how to fix this problem? I have already tried to look on google, but I couldn't find anything.

I am using Window Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

Do you have all of the updates from the Microsoft Updates website? If not, update your system there first. Also, you may want to visit the support page of your laptop manufacturer for fixes or enhancements for your particular pc.
