xbox hard drive to pc

Expand Post »
I was wondering if anybody would know?
I have an old computer with a bad hard drive and nothing else wrong. I also have an xbox with a cd drive problem but a good hard drive.
Is it possible to format the drive and use it?

Yes, as long as the drives are the same type (PATA, SATA).

Re: xbox hard drive to pc
You shouldn't have a problem using the XBOX hdd for the pc. Id say the XBOX hdd would use the cable type "IDE" , which is the same cable system the "older PC's" use. Besides installing the HDD into the PC theres really nothing else you should have to do other than installing Windows
