windows server 2008 screensaver issue

Hi, I run an udp web-based application on windows server 2008 and I am having trouble when my computer's screensaver turns on. Basically sometimes this application crashes and it is auto rebooted. However if the server reboots when my screensaver is on, i can't reconnect to the application.

It works if it was started before the screensaver turned on.. I can freely connect and disconnect... But if the app reboots and my computer is idle (on screensave) i cant connect. Once i "wake" it i can connect though... The computer is not asleep, it is just on screensaver. For now I have just disabled the screensaver as this is a server... but i would like to know why this happpens

just a quick note... disabling the screensaver didnt work... applications still dont connect if started when computer is idle
