Windows can't shut down because AMD:CCC AEM Capturing Window is still running.

Running Windows 7 6.1.7600 with Intel Core i3 M350 2.27 ghz I don't understand what AMD software is doing on my computer. I have Googled the issue and other people are looking for the answer to the same question. Undoubtedly the DaniWeb community will have the answer. Make it simple please, I'm not as savvy as you guys.

AMD:CCC is the Catalyst Control Centre which is a part of the control software for an ATI graphics card. AMD now own ATI.
You might want to have a look for a more up to date driver for your graphics. Just make sure you uninstall the old driver and all it's applications before installing a new one!
