Startup Menu..where is it?

I've Googled this and get every direction except the right one. We're running Win 7 Home Premium. There are a couple of programs that open up every time we reboot and I don't want them popping up on the screen. Input appreciated.

You are undoubtedly infected. You need to go here - http://www.daniweb.com/hardware-and-software/microsoft-windows/viruses-spyware-and-other-nasties/threads/134865 and follow ALL of the instructions and post ALL of the required logs in the CORRECT forum.

Might be a virus problem or not. Follow this link first. I what you mean is startup items and not startup menu. When you reboot you see a few programs startup automatically right? See whether the below link help. You might want to do a malware scan first. Good luck
