Vista instability issues

Before you jump to conclusions about "oh this is some kid who doesnt search the forums," I did. Ive looked through a few of the Vista threads about BSOD and none of them really answered my problems.

I just installed Vista last night. I got my first BSOD trying to install my Play station 2's Eye Eoy to my PC. It rebooted, and the drivers had been copied.

The second BSOD was that same night right before the PC was supposed to shut down.

The third was this morning while I was sleeping for unknown reason...

I have considered updating BIOS, but I cannot find any updates on the HP website.

Ive tried a few solutions and troubleshooting but nothing seems to help.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks All. =)

Can you give us the crash dumps, please? They are in C:\Windows\Minidump, as far as I know. (Y)
