Hi people. Just thought I would warn about a little issue I had with my Vista system last night. I tried to install colinux and the system crashed to a blue screen. When I tried to start it again normally it suffered some kind of kernel mode exception, did a core dump and restarted. Oh dear, I thought :( . Next time round, the vendor's (Packard Bell) recovery console was able to do a system restore and the machine can boot normally now :) .
So, be careful. Somthing in the device driver that comes with that software can really bite Vista quite hard.
