Vista IIS/localhost problem

Expand Post »
Hello,

My problem is that I couldn't open an ASP file locally on a browser. Each time I try to open/run an ASP file, it opens in my webpage editor Dreamweaver instead of going directly in a browser. How can I fix this?

I already checked the IIS feature in "Turn Windows features on or off" under Programs and Features. This should be functioning well now since when I type "http://localhost" in a browser, it opens the welcome IIS default page.

Thank you.

Re: Vista IIS/localhost problem

I have no expeience with ISS but this is clearly a problem in your IIS configuration. Instead of ISS executing the ASP scripts its just allowing you to download them.

I think this should solve your problem
