Problem with Windows Vista and the installation of a program which uses a hasp key

I have a TravelMate 5520 Acer laptop.
I have installed Windows Vista Ultimate and
I've tried several times installing a civil
engineer program called statics 2007, which
use a HASP key. When I write the code of the
HASP the program shows this message: I/O Error 5 P=2 C=72
Access is denied. After that when I press OK it says:
IORes1=2 (A second error mesage).
After this message the program fails to start.

I've tried dissabling Windows Defender, Windows FireWall,
installing the latest alladin drivers which support
Vista but the problem was not resolved. I also tried
installing the program to a different disk hard drive
(I have a 250Gb Partitioned into two parts, hard driver)
but still nothing.

Does anyone knows what can I do to fix this problem?

Try turning off some new Vista account security controls. Select Start --> Control Panel --> User Accounts --> Turn User Account Control on or off

Thanks, I've tried this a few days ago and it works. There are some other solutions also.

Install the program in C:\MyAppFolder or \Users\AccountName\AppData\Local\MyAppFolder
