I came across Alchemys asset tracker for networks software which is used for Lan Management functions i want to know the logic behind that plz help

It's helpful in large networks where knowing exactly what you have is a chore. What logic are you looking for? Perhaps you should ask the people at Alchemy your specific questions. http://www.alchemy-lab.com
