Hey guys!

Its been a while. But I'm back!

I have an old Linksys WRT54GS laying around in my garage, where I just finished setting up my workshop. I have a CAT6 cable hanging down from the cieling, but I have a couple computers down here, not to mention clients' computers in the future, that I need internet access for. I have purchased switches in the past and its really fast and easy, but I was wondering if there was a way I could use this old router as a switch to make 4 connections from my 1 cable cheaply?

I've disabled wireless and the firewall to help, but I cant get any further. Would downloading a freeware firmware (IE: Tomato) help or open this option up?

I know that this thing SHOULD technically be able to perform switching duties, as it is simply "dumbing down" the router into a less complicated networking component. I just don't know how!
