apache issue

I just installed apache 2.2... i had a dynamic domain name with dyndns.com
after configuring apache,, if i typed http://localhost/ on my web browser, the files shows.... however,, if i typed my ip or my domain name, it can't find it.

anyone knows why?

Are you trying to access your computer
from a local network where this apache computer is located or trying to access
this apache computer from outside through internet?

I was trying to setup a small web server that I can access my home pc drive from anywhere ... anyway, i got that issue solved.. thanks
