USB 3Com Wireless adapter loses connection after shutdown!

Expand Post »
EVERY TIME. Without fail, the wireless network finds the access point, but can't connect. Removing the wireless adapter and re-installing drivers etc works, and then there is no problem until a reset. I tried to disable the usb power saving feature but the device never remembers the settings I change. The computer is Windows XP SP2. The network is a win 2003 adv server network with no data security... other laptops work fine so I assumed perhaps the USB was at fault? Firewalls for windows and nortons have been turned off, the first thing I did

Mystified, lith0s,..
