Router prob ?

Hi
I no nothing about networking so bear with me :rolleyes: ok heres the problem i have a netgear router and im trying to configure my laptop to get online using a wireless connection,i can log into the router via the laptop but cant get online,when i try logging into the router via my home pc i kepp getting a 404 error here are the settings im using

HOME PC LOCAL ARE CONNECTIONS
ip 192.168.0.5
sub net 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.0.1

Prefered DNS 158.152.1.58
Alt DNS 158.152.1.58

LAPTOP SETUP WIRELESS CONNECTION
ip 192.168.0.4
sub net 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.0.1

Prefered DNS 158.152.1.58
Alt DNS 158.152.1.58

Ive also got my xbox going through my router which dont work either keeps saying the dns servers cant be reached,ive checked with my isp and the dns settings are correct.
Any ideas whats wrong ??

At first glance it looks pretty good, is this a new router or was it previously programmed by someone?

reset it and replay the installation steps. Then log in your 192.168.0.1 and configure your information. Then go boot up he wireless PC, and install drivers etc if you have to and set it up with the exact info you used on the main. To reset the router there is a little pin hole in the back, bust out a paper clip and stick in there. Hold it in for roughly 20 seconds works for me. But to be safe go about a minute. (do that first). ~sphyenx
