Computer Science student in need of some special software

Expand Post »
hey i was wondering if there are any programs that allow you to 'simulate' a digital oscilloscope on your PC so that you can see analogue and digital signals at various frequencies etc. Also it would be good if the program allows you to send individual ascii characters to that you can view this on the oscilloscope aswell. i asked my lecturer and he mentioned a program called opnet but i havent been able to find it anywhere. So if any 1 can recommend anything that would be very helpful indeed. Thanks

Re: Computer Science student in need of some special software

Years ago I had a software program that did what you are looking for
I think it was called Electronic WorkBench Software
I would google the name and see if its still avail
Its not cheap but they probably have a trial period
