Bizarre example of slow connection

This is a plea for inspiration rather than explicit help.

I have a php/mySql application running on a server in the UK and used by customers all over the UK and a number of locations in Europe. Response time is acceptable to all of them. EXCEPT one!

This one customer is on-line most of the time all day. She has TWO computers in her office, both on the same wireless network, connected to her ISP in Portugal.

One computer is fine, the other is painfully slow - but only when accessing my site in the UK. The "slow" computer relatively new and well specced and is fine when accessing all other websites, anywhere. The painful slow response is limited to two website that I host on the same server. Acceptable = 2-4 seconds to load a page, slow = 20-30 seconds for the same action.

Traceroute shows no discernible difference between the two computers in her office.

Oh, and this happens with various browsers - so exclude that :-(

In order to help her, what could/should I look for ?
