wireless network card for laptop won't work

Hi,
I just got a dlink DWL G630 c wireless card for a notebook running service pack 1 (i am updating that soon). The drivers installed fine. However the configuration software utility that came with the drivers does not work, the dlink software says that no card can be found, and the windows wireless network can find my network but doens't connect.
Any help would be appreciated

First off what rev are you at?

Next..
After you have found the rev. download the LATEST DRIVERS.

D-Link has had some issues wiht that card:

Click on the c2 rev and grab the latest drivers online to be sure.
