whenever i try to make network with winows 7 on both ends it says unidetified network but it works fine when i use windows xp on other end. what is the problem please help me

Help me understand. What do you mean by "both ends?"
On a computer with the problem, click the Start Orb. In the Search box, type the following: cmd
Right-click cmd.exe and select "Run as Administrator."
In the command window, type the following and press ENTER: ipconfig
Please list the IPv4 address.
