connection problem - need advice

Expand Post »
Hello,

I have an unused celeron at my house and decided to setup centos 4.2 server on it. Everything is setup, I am now messing around with the networking part. I set up the /etc/hosts file as well as the netconfig. However, now, when I try to run ping, or yum it will not connect to the host. Any ideas what I can try to do to be able to connect to the net again?

Thanks

Re: connection problem - need advice

What exactly did you do in /etc/hosts and netconfig? We kind of need to know that in order to help you out.
