What is the Advantage

In my office,for the last 9 monthes, have been using peer-to-peer network. But now our office work is demanding to upgrade to client/server. So I should make some proposal for officials. But first I need to know exactly the main advantages of client/server networking.

Assuming you're talking about Windows...

- uniform location for data (peer-to-peer data could be on any machine...no way to manage/guarantee resources will be available when needed for business)
- unified shared services (printing/file/dhcp/DNS)
- more reliable/favorable/easily managed backup and restore conditions
