Leaching and trying to share the internet

Expand Post »
I'm a leaching a connection off my nieghbors and I want to share the connection with another computer I know how to do it. But when I do there is a IP conflict and 192.168.0.1 is already taken. I realize that one I need to change this or two find another way. any advice besides buying my own connection would be nice. I'm a little on the poor side and leaching just seemed best for my life style and job. So anything and everything would be nice. I'm running a windows XP home addition computer. With a wireless connection and a lan connection. The wireless being the internet connection the lan being the home network.

Re: Leaching and trying to share the internet

If you're on your neighbour's connection without their permission, then what you're doing is quite illegal, no matter how you "justify" it. Such discussion is not permitted on these forums! If you can afford a PC with wireless capabilities then I'm sure a basic dialup connection is within your budget, however limited it might be.
