Internet Connection Disconnecting

A few months ago I changed my broadband to BT and I got a fibre optic cable, before i got this my internet connection was fine but now I disconnect from the router/modem every 2 minutes.

I am the only one in the house with this problem and I have 3 brothers and their connection has never disconnected since we changed.

If you could tell me how to fix this or why this is happening it will be greatly appreciated, thhank you.

How are you connecting? Wireless or Wired?

Have you tried contacting your ISP directly? If you're using wireless, why not try using wired (ethernet) and see if you disconnect.
