How hard is it to replace the network card on Laptop? Recently my Laptop has not been able to get an internet connection, both wired and wireless. I updated drivers for the network adapters, disabled them and re-enabled them. I then took it to best buy and they want to ship it out for a quote, they are telling me that it will be around $150. Is their a way to tell if its my motherboard or just my network card?

So both your wired and wireless connections are not working? Could be a variety of things...

can the computer connect to another network?

Try booting on another OS, maybe with a Linux live type of media so you don't have to reinstall the alas to perform this test. If you boot to a bootable Linux cd and you wired connection works, the problem is related to your OS install
