Can't connect to internet from bro's router

Expand Post »
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for reading my post. My wireless internet is giving me a headache. I am new here and don't know much about computer, so please bear with me.
My brother has a Motorola WR850G router and I have a Airlink+ Wireless Adaptor, 802.11g, 32bit. I typed in the correct WEP code and connected to his network, but internet still didn't work. I checked the stats and it says I'm not receiving any good packets. Is this the source of my problem? If so, how can i fix it? I already tried un/reinstalling the adaptor/driver and check for hardware problem, but nothing worked. My brother doesn't know what's wrong either. Are there any other ways to diagnose the problem I am having? I can get wireless internet in my friend's house, so I don't understand why I can't get internet with my brother's router. Please help.

Thanks,
Greenteabear
