not able to ping though in the same domain

Expand Post »
I have a system connected to a domain. I am able to browse through the entire network, other's shared folders. But others in the same domain/network are neither not able to ping or access any of my file.

Would be thankful, for any response.

sounds like your network administrator has ICMP blocked, ICMP is the protocol that Ping uses to work, if it is blocked ping isnt going to work.

as for the files, do you have them shared?
