Can't connect Linux to Verizon Fios

 I have my Dell Deminsion 4500 dual booted, Windows from Verizon Fios and Fedora Linux. I copied all the connect info from Windows to Linux. My connection gets refused by Verizon. As a result, I can't get email or go on net. I have an CNET PRO200WL PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter with a D-Link DI-624. I have reinstalled Fedora and still come to the same point.

I too, have a Cnet pro200wl that will not work with Vista.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Here is what I found and worked for me. This was in the Ubuntu Forum from h3h_timo. Add dmfe to /etc/modules. You do this by editing with gedit and typing the following code into a terminal
sudo gedit /etc/modules Then you add dmfe to this the file and save it.
Next you need to blacklist tulip. edit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist and add blacklist tulip.
Or go to Ubuntu Forums > Dapper Drake 6.06 Release > Hardware Help > n\Ntworking > How to fix problem with Davicom Ehternet adapter
