network computers not visible

Expand Post »
A friend of mine has a home network that has three computers. computer1 shows itself and computer2 as workgroup computers. computer3 show itself and computer2 as workgroup computers. computer2 shows both of the other computers and itself as workgroup computers. accessing files between the systems is not working either. all of the computers can access the internet through the router that is attached to the cable modem. Any ideas??

Re: network computers not visible

I am having nearly a similar problem The wired network is not able to see the wireless device but the wireless device sees the wired ones entirely. I need to know how the get into the wireless device from the wired network. Windows XP Home SP2. If anyone can help me troubleshoot this please let me know. Microsoft had me on hold for over 2 hours last night. Any help is appreciated.
