ok say i have a router and 2 wireless clients and one wired client and i want to know if i can make the wired client's root hdd thats be split in two partions ,can i make the non-(C) drive be a shared drive or do i need a dedicated server

Rather than sharing an entire drive or partition, perhaps you could just share a folder? To partition the drive you generally need to reformat the whole thing, and reinstall Windows from scratch, unless you buy a copy of Partition Magic (or some similar program).

run windows networking wizard

right click on the folder(s) / drive and choose "sharing/secutity"
