Hi, Im new to all of this and wondered if anyone can help. I currently use a BT voyager 205 router which works fine with my PC and broadband connection. I decided that I wanted to go wireless and therfore brought a BT voyager 2110 thinking that it would also work fine.
I followed the instructions but cannot get to the voyager.home logon page. I phoned the BT helpline and they instructed me to go to run/cmd/ipconfig. It then tells me that my IP address and gateway are the same, both ending in .1.1 . When using my old router (205) the IP address and gateway are slightly different, one ending in .1.1 and the other in .1.3.
BT dont really know how to resolve the problem and i've even exchanged the router but the new one does the same thing. Has anybody experianced this problem before or does anyone know how to resolve it? I brought the 2110 because I was currently using a voyager and thought it would be easy, apparently not!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
