Router password

I forgot the username and password for my router and yes I am the administrator It is a netgear router. I do not want to reset the router because the settings that I currently have is working great with the rest of my network. Please help I need to login to my router my kids are looking at site they arn't supposed to.

I believe the only way to access a router without the password is to reset it to default. There may be some hacking tools out there but they wont be easy to get ahold of cause that sort of thing isn't exactly kosher
