Cannot connect to network

Expand Post »
My laptop seems to work fine when I work from home on Wireless, however when I go to the office and try to connect to the network, it shows that the network status is connected and the lights flash where the network cable is inserted

however i cannot get onto the internet nor onto my e-mails from the office. tried our techies but they could not come up with any solutions...they cannot even ping my laptop...

i was wondering if maybe this is due to my wireless connection. any help will be appreciated

Re: Cannot connect to network

You could try in this order from CMD if the preceding step doesn't work:

ipconfig /flushdns (you might need to do this again when you get home)

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew
